Pictures of our farm equipment which we use at our farm near Clarinda, Iowa.

June 22, 2007 - today we built an Arrow garden shed, from a kit. Turned out really nice:

This is my Farmall M, made in 1939. It has a front loader, not a very powerful one but good for moving gravel and dirt. I used this tractor for harrowing. For a 70-year-old machine, it is amazing how good a shape it is in.
Oh, yes, the reason this page has a red and white header is because both of my tractors were made by International Harvester.

Here is a International Harvester Farmall 1566 Turbo Diesel tractor. These pictires show what it looked like when I had just bought it.
The '1566 now has new paint on all the engine panels, and all new decals. Here is me, making a drainage channel, so the water drains around the house instead of draining under it:

Next in line for painting is the cab - doors and fenders.
This is what it looked like inside. It is a lot cleaner now. I got rid of the dusty column cover, and made a new rubber mat for the floor, with cutouts for pedals and such. It is much more pleasant to drive it around now. I have put in a couple of 12-15 hour days on the weekend plowing our two grass pastures which we planted in corn this year.
Lizzie built a wonderful patio:
